$10,000 Challenge
10 players... 10 ways to qualify…$10,000 to be won.
Blue Square Poker launched the $10k Challenge in January where online players were given the opportunity to qualify via various different methods for a special 1 table Playoff at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London. Alex 'nikinblinds' Martin emerged victorious on that occasion and clearly enjoyed himself doing it!
In June we will be repeating the promotion with another $10,000 up for grabs. Again all qualifying players will be invited down for a night in London in early July (accommodation and travel expenses provided) to enjoy hospitality courtesy of Blue Square Poker and Grosvenor Casinos, followed by an exclusive dealer dealt tournament live at "The Vic" where $10,000 will be won!

Event Structure
10 players will be invited to take part in a one table tournament at the Vic with a prize pool of $10,000. This money will be split between the top 4 finishers as follows:

Qualification
In order to cater for all player types we have compiled a diverse range of qualification routes to enable players of all stake levels and game types to have a chance of getting involved in the action.
Super Heavyweight Playoff.
If you’re one of Blue Squares biggest punchers then there is an exclusive playoff dedicated especially to you. All players that are in the superheavyweight VIP group (Level 5) are entitled to enter the designated tournament on Wednesday 2nd July at 8:30pm absolutely free. If you are not yet in this category then make sure you earn enough KO Points in June to get promoted in time for the Playoff!
League Playoff
The monthly GUKPT Online Poker League always offers great value and a community based atmosphere to all of our players. The winner will win a seat into the GUKPT Champion of Champions tournament at the end of the year, there will be GUKPT ranking points for the top 9 and all those players who finish in the top 20 in June’s league will enter a playoff for a seat in the $10k Challenge on Wednesday June 25th at 8:30pm. Hold 'em Cash Raked hands race
A straight race to the finish for all Hold'em cash game players of $0.25 - $0.50 tables and upwards. The player that accumulates the most raked hands in the whole of June will automatically qualify for their seat on the $10k Challenge Final Table. Those players who finish 2nd to 10th will have a second bite of the cherry as they join Omaha players in a special playoff tournament to win the final seat. The raked hands race applies to limit and no limit games and we will be updating the table regularly throughout the month so you’ll be able to see if you have opened up an early lead or are playing catch up.

Omaha Raked Hands Race
A straight race to the finish for all Omaha cash game players of $0.25 - $0.50 tables and upwards. The player that accumulates the most raked hands in the whole of June will automatically qualify for their seat on the $10k Challenge Final Table. Those players who finish 2nd to 10th will have a second bite of the cherry as they join Hold'em players in a special playoff tournament to win the final seat. The raked hands race applies to limit and pot limit games and we will be updating the table regularly throughout the month so you’ll be able to see if you have opened up an early lead or are playing catch up.

Raked Hands Race Playoff
Players that finish in positions 2-10 in both the Omaha and Hold'em Raked Hands Races will then take part in a special (hold'em) freeroll which will take place on Thursday 3rd July at 8:30pm where the winner will secure their place on the $10k Challenge Final Table.
Bubble Tournament
The Bubble Freeroll is a perennial Blue Square promotion and in June we have decided to reward those players who enter by offering a $10k Challenge seat to the winner. Any player (un)fortunate enough to finish on the bubble in any tournament throughout the month can request to be entered into the tournament by sending an email to support@bluesqpoker.comwith your nickname, tournament I.D and time/date by Midday on July 4th. The Bubble tournament will then take place on Sunday July 6th at 4pm.
Longest Heads up streak
If heads up is your game then you have a great opportunity of winning your seat if you can put together a long streak of wins over the course of June. The player who wins the most consecutive games (with a buy in of $5 and upwards) and sends in their claim by 1st July will win their seat at the $10k Challenge Final Table. NB for any streak to count a player cannot play the same opponent on more than 3 occasions in that run. All claims are subject to rigorous checks by our poker team to prevent against collusion. Longest Single Table Tournament streak
The player who wins the most consecutive STT’s with a buy in of $5 and upwards (6 player minimum) during the course of June and claims this by sending an email to support@bluesqpoker.com by July 1st will win a seat to the $10k challenge table. All claims are subject to rigorous checks by our poker team to prevent against collusion.

KO Points Rebuy Freeroll
A freeroll offering every real money player the opportunity to take their seat at the $10k Challenge Final Table. For just 1,000 KO points you can buy in to play in this special freeroll on Sunday 29th June at 6:30pm.
Players will receive 500 starting chips each, with rebuys of 500 chips available for an extra 1,000 KO Points during the first hour (4 levels). An optional top-up of 1,500 chips for 2,000 KO Points will also be available during the 1st break.
Terms and Conditons
1) The $10k Challenge live event will take place on the evening of TBC at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London. Should any qualifying player be unable to make this event their place will be offered to the player who finished 2nd in their qualifying route and so on until an available participant is found. No cash alternative will be offered.
2) In the event of one player winning more than one of the qualifying routes, they will only be eligible for one seat. The player will take the seat for the highest ranking route, and the player in 2nd place in the other route will be offered the other seat. The route ranking for the purposes of multiple seat wins is as follows: Sponsored Player Points Race, KO Points Freeroll, Bubble Tournament, League Playoff, Super Heavyweight Playoff, Raked Hands Race Playoff, STT Streak, Heads Up Streak, Hold'em Raked Hands Race, Omaha Raked Hands Race.
3) The raked hands races run from 1st June – 30th June 2008 for table stakes of $0.25/$0.50 and above.
4) The STT and Heads Up streaks applies to tournaments played between 00:00 1st June and 23:59 on 30th June and will be based upon players claiming their place on the leaderboard. To qualify for this please send in your claim to Blue Square Poker at support@bluesqpoker.com. Tournaments are considered as consecutive for the purposes of this promotion if their starting times are consecutive. Claims will need to be received no later than midday on 1st July. All claims are subject to collusion checks. The same opponent cannot be played more than 3 times for Heads Up streaks. In the event of a tie in either route, all tied players will be entered into a No Limit Holdem Playoff for the seat. Playoffs will be scheduled for the evening of Saturday 5th July 2008.
5) ) The June Bubble Freeroll will take place on Sunday 6th July; all entries to the tournament will need to be claimed by Midday on Friday 4th July.
6) The playoff for players finishing 2-10th in the two raked hands race tables will take place on the Thursday 3rd July at 8.30pm.
7) The KO Points Rebuy Freeroll will take place on Sunday 29th June at 6:30pm.
8) The VIP Super Heavyweight Playoff will take place on Wednesday 2nd July at 8.30pm.
9) The GUKPT Online League Playoff will take place on Wednesday 25th June at 8:30pm .
10) The Sponsored Player Playoff will be contested by contracted Blue Square sponsored players only. Sponsorship Freeroll winners are not eligible.
11) Qualifiers will be credited $150 towards expenses for travel within 24 hours of securing their seat. Hotel accommodation will be provided.
12) All decisions made by bluesq.com management are final
13) Blue Square reserves the right to cancel this promotion, or change its conditions at any time and for any reason.
