Eligibility
It has long been customary in a wide variety of sporting, musical, and academic fields to recognise the outstanding achievements of a select group of individuals. Over the past few years many thousands of players have graced the Blue Square tables, but we had no way of recognising their most prolific or superlative performances. Until now.
We are proud to announce the Blue Square Poker Hall of Fame.
No longer will your achievements go unrecognised or victories unheralded. The true cream of our poker playing brethren will be honoured forever (well, a long time) in the Hall of Fame where their peers will be able to read about the full scope of their accomplishments and aspire to attain such a revered position.
Now how would one go about getting inducted into this Gallery of Stars?
- You cleaned up 10 buy-ins in 10 minutes playing the 5c/10c cash games? Not good enough I’m afraid.
- You took down the afternoon $25 rebuy? Nice result but you’re a long way short.
- You beat 2000 players to claim the sole prize in a freeroll? You’re getting close – now do it again!
In short, there is no sure-fire way of claiming a place in the Hall of Fame. It is possible that a player may gain entry on the back of one spectacular success, such as winning the inaugural ECOOP Main Event in December. However you do not necessarily have to play at the highest levels to be recognised for your achievements. For example a long string of victories in small buy-in Sit n Go games would also be an impressive accomplishment.
All inductees must be approved by the BSQ Poker management team and we will continually look out for high performing individuals. However if you feel that we have missed a significant achievement then please send us an email to halloffame@bluesq.com with all the relevant information and you will be considered for a place.
